2025 was the year of my start-up founder journey. I handled the development of our flagship product, Gidance, which connects to a company’s internal knowledge sources and apps. It uses AI agents to answer the pressing questions decision-makers have with what we call Generative Business Intelligence, where answers are generated, visualized, and dashboards are created dynamically just with natural language.
At Intelligent Systems Institute, I’ve been working on a variety of exciting AI projects, from transforming unstructured data into usable insights using LLMs to building systems for pre-detecting production defects. I also helped deploy a AI virtual avatar for a Virtual Sea Trial project and contributed to predicting electricity prices for FESIO project. It’s been a mix of problem-solving, learning, and applying AI in practical ways.
I also developed a data ingestion and management pipeline for Mirka Oy using azure, processing large datasets (120,000+ images) for production defect detection (97% accuracy).
As part of the ARPA project, I worked on creating a proof-of-concept user interface for ship navigation using extended reality (XR) using data from ship simulators. I was also partly involved in building ship detection model.
I started as an intern, eager to learn, and soon grew into a full-time web developer. My role involved building websites, solving technical challenges, and working closely with clients to make their ideas come to life. It was a period of immense growth, where I not only developed my skills but also learned the value of teamwork and listening to user feedback to create something meaningful.
